Private apps for your team, like a CRM or a full operations system, public apps for your customers, from a booking app to a marketplace, and small indie games, from browser games to low-poly 3D games for Steam.
Built by me, priced as a range, and yours once it’s paid for.
A range, not a fixed price. You get one fixed price after the free call.
Private, public and games
Six kinds of app.
Private apps are for you and your staff. Public apps are for your customers, or for a startup idea. Games are for fun, or for getting a brand noticed.
Private
Business tool or CRM
One job done well, for your team only: a customer list and pipeline, job tracker, booking board or quote builder.
£2,500–£6,000one-off range
Private
Advanced CRM and operations system
The whole business in one place: leads, quotes, jobs, calendar, staff, documents and compliance, with logins per person.
£9,000–£20,000one-off range
Public
Public app (B2C or B2B)
A web app your customers sign in to: a client portal, booking or ordering app, or a first version of a startup idea.
£7,000–£15,000one-off range
Public
Marketplace (B2B, C2B or C2C)
Two sides meeting in one app: buyers and sellers, customers and providers, with listings, accounts and messaging.
£20,000–£45,000one-off range
Game
Small indie game
A small 2D game that plays in the browser and on phones: an arcade, puzzle or branded mini-game for a business or a launch.
£3,000–£8,000one-off range
Game
Low-poly 3D game for Steam
A short, focused 3D game in the low-poly style that’s popular on Steam right now, ready to sell on your own Steam page. Steam’s own $100 listing fee is paid by you.
£9,000–£25,000one-off range
Care after launch from £60 a month: hosting, updates, backups and small fixes.
Already built
Two systems, already live.
Not mock-ups. Both are live, and I can show you round them on a call.
Advanced CRM and operations system
KLR Ops
Built for KLR Design, a gates and fabrication company in Perth & Kinross.
I built a full operations system for a local design company: CRM, quotes, jobs and compliance. Enquiries come in, quotes are built from real supplier prices, jobs go on the calendar and map, and staff files, documents and two-factor sign-in keep it tidy and secure.

1 of 4 · Everything that needs you today, on one screenDemo, made-up data
Every enquiry lands in one pipeline with its next step, so nothing gets lost in texts and emails.
Quotes are built step by step from saved supplier prices, so pricing a gate is a few clicks, not a spreadsheet.
Jobs go straight onto a shared calendar and map, so everyone knows who is where and when.
Money is in one place: invoiced, paid and overdue, kept in step with QuickBooks.
A compliance plan, staff files and two-factor sign-in keep the paperwork tidy and the data safe.
My own CRM
Studio HQ
The private app I run Rapid Scale Studio from.
A lead finder that scores local businesses, a sales pipeline, a marketing planner, a Monday briefing, daily checks on my clients’ websites, and a client portal with private proposal pages.
“Hi, I saw guests can’t book online yet. I have a simple idea for that.”

1 of 4 · The day planned before it startsDemo, made-up data
Every week it checks local businesses and scores who is worth contacting, so I start with the best leads.
A pipeline from Found to Won puts the next step on every card, so follow-ups don't slip.
A morning briefing and timetable plan the day before it starts.
Each client gets a private proposal page, and I can see when it has been opened.
Daily checks on my clients' websites flag problems before the client notices.
How it works
Planned first. Built in stages.
You see it working early and often, and the price is fixed before I start.
S115 min
Free call
You tell me what the app needs to do and who will use it. I’ll tell you honestly if it’s something I can build.
S21 wk
Plan and price
A short plan in plain English: screens, who sees what, and a fixed price from inside the range. Nothing starts until you agree it.
S3Weeks
Build in stages
You get a working link early and see it grow. Each stage is something you can click and try, not a slide.
S4After
Launch and care
It goes live on your own address. Care from £60 a month covers hosting, updates, backups and small fixes.
Not vibe coded
Built properly, checked for security.
“Vibe coding” means letting an AI write the code and shipping it without really reading it. I don't do that. AI can help me work faster, but nothing in your app goes live until I've read it, tested it and checked it for security.
Common vibe-coding mistakes
01
Secret keys left in the code
Passwords and payment keys pasted straight into the page, where anyone can open the browser and copy them.
02
A database anyone can read
Customer names, phone numbers and messages stored with no lock on them, so a stranger can download the lot.
03
Forms with no limits
No checks on what's typed and no cap on how often, so bots fill your inbox or run up your bills.
04
Security only in the browser
The page hides a button, but the server never checks who's asking, so the button isn't really locked.
05
Made-up or outdated add-ons
AI tools sometimes suggest software packages that don't exist or are years out of date, which attackers watch for.
06
Nobody understands it
Fix one thing and two others break, because nobody wrote tests or knows how the parts fit together.
What I check on every build
✓Every change read by me and run through automated tests, type checks and linting before it goes live
✓Secret keys kept out of the code entirely: the build refuses to run if one is found
✓Databases locked with row-level security, so nobody can read records that aren't theirs
✓Everything typed into a form checked on the server, with limits on how often it can be sent
✓Security headers on every page, and two-step sign-in on anything with an admin side
Vibe coding is fine for a quick mock-up to try an idea. It isn’t fine for something your customers trust with their details.
Vibe-coded work compared with work from Rapid Scale Studio
What
Vibe coded
Built by me
Who checks the code
✕Nobody: if it looks like it works, it ships
✓Me, every line, before it goes live
Your customers' details
✕Often left readable by anyone
✓Locked down so only the right people can read them
No two apps are the same. The range shows roughly where yours will land. After the free call I write a short plan and give you one fixed price from inside it, before any work starts.
What do B2C, B2B, C2B and C2C mean?+–
Who uses the app. B2C: a business serving the public (a booking app). B2B: a business serving other businesses (a trade portal). C2B: people offering something to businesses (freelancers or creators applying to jobs). C2C: people dealing with each other (a local swap or hire marketplace).
Do I own the app?+–
Yes. Once it’s paid for in full, the code and the data are yours, the same as my websites. It runs on accounts in your name where that makes sense.
Can it work on phones?+–
Yes. I build web apps that work in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, and can be added to the home screen like an app. App Store and Google Play apps are a different, bigger job, so ask me first.
What does it cost to run?+–
Small apps often run on free or very cheap hosting. My care plan from £60 a month covers hosting, updates, backups and small fixes. New features are quoted separately.
Got an app in mind?
Tell me what it needs to do and who will use it, and I’ll come back with a range and a plan. Or see websites→ if you just need a site.
